Score: 96 Explore the Dungeon of Turvy and try to beat this score, or enter your username to generate and explore your own dungeon... Rather silly meme Freddo posted, but it took my mind of work for a few minutes, so it's all good ;)
| You Are Wind | Strong and overpowering A force to be reckoned with, no one dares cross you You have the power to change everything around you
You are best known for: your wrath
Your dominant state: commanding |
Fear my wrath! Wrath delivered with... Dual Pistols You preferred a weapon with 9% power over speed and 60% range over melee. | | You use Dual Pistols. Best done with relatively light pistols like Berettas, a pair of pistols is the quintessential Street Samurai's arsenal. Stylish and fast, a pair of pistols is inaccurate but fearsome. You excel at providing cover fire and look cool while doing it. Your opponents will dive for cover when you reach to your sides. | | Weapon test
So I stumbled upon the new Sam & Max website, and I just couldn't resist the comic generator thingy. Anyway, about the new sam & max. What the hell is going on with all these "episodic" games? I can understand it from a development point of view (more time to tailor your story, faster release, etc), but from a buyer point of view, it *sucks*. It's like Sin Episode 1 that I played recently. I mean, it's an ok game, but story-wise it's sadly lacking, and I finished it in less than 4 hours. Only one possible reaction : "Excuse me, I paid 20€ for *this*?" Then it turns out I'll have to wait half a year or more for the rest of the story... Hooray, it's 9 episodes with half a year between them, so by the time the story is done, duke nukem forever will be out! =p
Silent Hill is the best game to movie adaptation ever, pleasing to both fans of the games and people that have never heard of it. Discuss.
I'm sorry Malrock, but it must be fate, right? ;) Also, in other news, I finally released a new version of my Prince of Persia Toolset. It should extract all textures and most of the static level data now.
Right, looks like it's time for the classic season anime series roundup (in random order)
Let's see...
The good Black Lagoon : Japan goes big budget hollywood action movie. Also, nuns with guns and nazi's = MANY INTARNETS WIN. Haruhi no Yuuutsu : It's freaky, but I love it. Joshikousei : My ecchi comedy of the season. Nana : Nana = wuv. 'nuff said. RAY : Akihito Yoshitomi is a great mangaka, and the anime is a very well done adaptation. The Third : Surprise of the season. A xebec show that actually looks good and has an interesting storyline.
The bad Disgaea : Oh. my. god. This is so bad I don't even have any words for it. I hope the game (which I haven't played) isn't nearly as bad, otherwise I'm going to start doubting everyone's sanity. .hack//ROOTS : snore, bore and other things ending in ore. Sorry, even a catgirl can't save you.
The borderline Air Gear : I like the manga a lot more, but I'll give it a few more eps to see where it goes. Glass Kantai : I like the storyline, but the animation is pretty bad. The character designs are outrageous. We'll see if the animation quality increases in the next ep. Inukami : This is... so bad for the brain, but it's FUNNY. Anyway, I'm giving it a few more eps to see where it's going, if anywhere. Jyu-oh-sei : A bad bones show? ZOMG. It's got 1 more ep to convince me. Simoun : Episode 1 was bad, episode 2 was great. I'm on the fence. We'll see which way I fall off. Mon, Apr. 17th, 2006, 11:46 pm I'm ALIVE!
Happy (one-day-late) Easter everyone! So, yeah, I'm still alive. Surprised? (actually, I'd forgotten which damn password I'd used for my LJ account orz)
It's finally happened to me... I've contracted MMORPG-itis. The culprit's name is Silk Road Online, a free Korean MMORPG set in a sort of fantasy ancient China. It's a bit engrishy, but that only adds to the charm.
Just wanted to tell everyone that Gun x Sword is the first awesome series of the new season. Taniguchi is the man. It's the second coming of s-CRY-ed, right down to the music and some of the basic setups. Go watch it. Now. You'll thank me later. (assuming your nihongo-fu is strong enough of course, since it's licensed. I have no idea why Bandai US let it slip through their fingers, but I bet they'll end up beating themselves something awful)
